After hauling it all away, then you can start putting on your new roof. Many people like to use tar shingles for their affordable price and ease of installation. You can also try cedar shingles, but these can be very expensive and are dependent on the area you live in. There is also a stucco look that is popular in the Southwest. Choose wisely as you will probably be living with your roof for over 10 years.
